Traditional and modern

Founded in 1973 by architect Kurt Döbeli and converted into a joint stock company in 1983, in 2011 renamed into "Kurt Döbeli & Partner Architekten AG" with the incorporation of new partners. He and his team - focused on design and construction - realised over eighty remarkable buildings in the Engadin, Tessin and the neighboring Italy.

In 2012 the design area of the office is expanded thanks to the participation of design architects. An interplay of the atmospheric and personal level, with an aim for economy - always taking into consideration the whole picture of the construction project. Design. Presentation. Implementation.

In 2014 renamed in MIA ARCHITECTURA AG. Mirjam Amsler, who grew up in the nearby town of Zuoz taking over the position of Managing Director. She expands the SIA certified company’s area of competence with her knowledge, skill and passion by involving all architectural aspects. She connects her team’s in-depth knowledge and precise working, with natural materials to create innovative habitats, carried by emotions. Humane. Involved. Grounded.
